This Martha's Vineyard property is located in the historic district of Edgartown and overlooks the Edgartown Lighthouse and has its own dock. Enjoy sweeping views of the harbor from most rooms as well as the two covered porches. First floor bedroom has a hall bathroom and the remaining three bedrooms are on the second floor each with their own private bathroom as well. All beautifully decorated combining the old charm with the new, keeping the layout of the home a new discovery on every level. There is a cozy yet efficient kitchen which is accentuated by the view of the harbor with its large pane of glass for easy glances while preparing your favorite meal. It is equipped with stainless steel appliances and a small center island to gain more work-space. The dining area is close by for smooth service. There are french doors that lead to the main porch from the living area to enjoy spectacular views of the harbor, lighthouse and passing boats. A simple yet comfortable sitting area dressed in beach like colors is steps away from the oh so popular covered porch where you will probably spend most of your time. As an added feature there is a large family room on the lower level with a large flat screened TV and wonderful comfy sofas to relax after a great day at the beach. There are two ways to go out to the long back yard and Lighthouse Beach and beyond on this level. It is also a great place to store beach equipment and grab a quick shower. Dock information: Must be PRE-ARRANGED if you plan on bringing your boat. The owners dock has a 6 ft draw - two or three dinghies will be sharing the dock for pick up and drop off only. There is a public walkway to the right of the property that is surrounded with lush natural fencing for privacy. Dock shared with individual pre-paid dock slips, available as a separate rental.
