My two young children and I stayed at this property for two weeks. The location is great, close to our favorite beaches, with sticker access to make visiting them possible. The house is well ventilated with A/C split units on the bedrooms and a good ceiling fan that together cooled the house as needed. The furnishings were comfortable and the deck and barbecue allowed for al fresco, home-cooked meals. The house and yard are small, suitable for a family of four at most. Two couples might find the second bedroom and a single bathroom both detractors, but for us it worked out quite well. My only real gripe was the age and quality of the kitchen appliances, which seemed 30 years old and each had idiosyncrasies manageable or not. The clothes washer and dryer in the bathroom are both of similar vintage, but worked well. If we returned to Chilmark just the three of us, we would seriously consider returning to this property.
