I can't say enough about this wonderful home. We really enjoyed out time here. The house is lovely inside and out. The private back deck was wonderful for outdoor family dinners and the outdoor shower was the perfect spot to rinse off after a day at the beach. With all the indoor space, our family of five had more than enough room to spread out, but still felt cozy in the multiple sitting areas throughout. I loved that we didn't have to drag our towels and beach chairs, but simple turn up and enjoy. We will definitley be back. Can't wait!

Nice place, but...
Upon check in on a very hot, humid day, the air conditioning was not on. It was near 85 degrees on the main floor and hotter as you went up the stairs. Finally, by bedtime, it was reasonably cool. How come the caretaker couldn't have come over that morning and turned ac on? Considering the rent on this place, I would think that would be reasonable. After that the house remained cool. Another complaint was the grill. The starter button was missing. No matches, but we did find a lighter and using a dry twig, got it lit. However, only one burner would function. Not great as we had planned two evening meals on the grill. Again, considering the cost, that was unacceptable. It's a nice place for a rental and the six adults and four kids found room enough to spread out. The four grandkids had the run of the third floor and that was wonderful. The "apartment" in the basement was great for the grandparents. The owner was advised of the above "problems" and hopefully they will be rectified for future renters. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs and toys. Great washing machine and dryer.
