This Classic six bedroom Captain's home with four bedroom guesthouse was built in 1878 and is located in the heart of Edgartown village on the island of Martha's Vineyard. It has many upgrades and comfortable amenities such as central air conditioning throughout the main house. The kitchen is well equipped with the dining room table just a pass through away. Or for those who liking dining al fresco there is a side deck opposite the kitchen island to grill and dine together. Plenty of living space on the first floor for lounging and being with family and friends with its many sitting rooms. Between these rooms is a convenient full bathroom. On the second floor are five bedrooms which share a hall full bathroom. The centrally air conditioned sixth bedroom is located on the third floor and is an en suite with tub and shower. Just seconds away from the back of the main house is the guesthouse which accommodates five people with dining, living and a minimal kitchen. The kitchen has a microwave and a toaster oven (no stove or oven). Window air conditioning units in the bedrooms only in this guesthouse. This spacious property is just blocks from Main Street for shops, restaurants, harbor, shuttle bus, museum, town cinema and plenty of people watching.
