Located on Morse Street in the heart of Edgartown Village, this five-bedroom, two-story antique captains home was originally built in 1780 and is nicely updated to modern standards. The spacious kitchen with breakfast bar is open to a cozy sitting room and flows to the outdoor spaces that include a deck for grilling, patio for lounging, outdoor shower and a fenced yard with mature plantings and grassy lawn. The formal dining room, living room, office (with daybed) and one bedroom and full bath occupy the first floor. On the second floor, three guest rooms, a full bath, and the primary bedroom with walk in closet and en suite bath are found. The location, just blocks from Fuller Street Beach, the harbor and all Main Street restaurants, boutiques and galleries, cannot be beat. Off street parking for 2 vehicles. 2 week minimum stay preferred.

This is the second year we've enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. The Morse St. location is great - quick access to town, yet a quiet street, and private back yard with beautiful plantings. The home functions well with many bedrooms (2 on first floor), 3 baths, a modern, well supplied kitchen, and comfortable high end seating throughout. Every room is tastefully decorated and it has central air conditioning! It's a short walk to Fuller Beach and the lighthouse, but our favorite is still South Beach! We've thoroughly enjoyed this charming home for our family vacations and highly recommend it!
