Edgartown Yacht Club's Around The Island Race This Weekend

Edgartown Yacht Club and The Big Boat Buoy Races (BBBR)  Annual ‘Round-the-Island Race takes place this weekend on July 18 - 20, 2013. The boats will be going around Martha's Vineyard in a clockwise direction, starting and finishing just off of Edgartown. Come see Classic Classes, One Design, Multihull, and Double-Handed boats as they sail 53.7 nautical miles traveling through Nantucket Sound, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Vineyard Sound.

The Schedule of Events is as follows:

Big Boat Buoy Races

Thursday, July 18 & Friday, July 19 The Races will be held Thursday and Friday, July 18 & 19, 2013 with the first warning signal at 1000 hrs. each day

Round-the-Island Race

July 20, 2013 The Race will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 with the first warning signal at 0800 hrs.
