This property has a lovely side yard patio for those days of outdoor grilling and dining. Among the many amenities to this property is the added feature to its private beach access where one can watch the harbor unfold.   • This house is unbelievable! We have been having our family retreat in MV for the past 30 years and this house has got to be the best of everything that the island has to offer. The house is immaculate with beautiful oak floors through. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. It's all right there. We enjoy cooking and having meals with our friends who also vacation at the same time, in August. This was perfect for that. The open floor plan allows for conversation while 4 people could work comfortably in the kitchen and never bump into each other........others could be around the lovely dining room table or in the living room or adjoining family room that are all connected and create awesome conversation areas. If you choose to barbeque outside....the grill is on the lovely patio just outside of the family room that connects to the enormous kitchen....it makes it all very simple. (With central air........and state of the art kitchen appliances we opted to cook inside) There is a laundry room that also connects into the kitchen. This house is just a few feet away from a beautiful private beach that is perfect for that morning cup of tea, while watching the sun rise, a morning jog where you don't have to stop and speak to all of your friends who you will most definitely want to see later at the Ink Well...but there was something special about not having to be seen until we wanted to be seen (smile) The water is calm and inviting for a swim or kayaking and our days were made perfect when we sat with a glass of wine and watched the sun set before deciding where we would go dancing at night. All of the bedrooms are fabulous and upstairs in equally incredible! There is an upstairs deck that gives you a beautiful view of the water. Look at the pictures! As beautiful as they are, they don't do this lovely home justice! The house is centrally located and you can walk to the Steamship Authority or bike over and get to all of the "hot spots" on a bike. Easy access to Lagoon Beach,(SUV or car with a high ground clearance preferred to get there (smile) one of our favorites, and just a short car ride from the beaches in OB and South Beach. We had such a nice time that we tried to stay an extra week or book 2 weeks for the following year. Unfortunately someone else who was there the week before us beat us to it! You will be very happy if you decided to stay in this lovely home. A bonus was having the opportunity to meet the owners who often spend time in the mail house behind this one. They became our Vineyard Haven friends very quickly and just added to an already perfect vacation.
